Dr. Vin Gupta is a practicing pulmonologist, innovator, and leading health communicator whose career bridges medicine, public health, technology, and policy. A former 14-year U.S. Air Force Officer, he has advised on pandemic preparedness, led clinical innovation at Amazon and Apple, and now serves as Managing Director of Healthcare Innovation at Manatt Health. In addition, he serves as Senior Medical Analyst for MS Now, where Dr. Gupta is nationally recognized for translating complex medical issues for the public. He holds degrees from Princeton, Columbia, Harvard, and the University of Cambridge and completed his medical training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He is on the board of the American Lung Association and is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Peter Marks received his graduate degree in cell and molecular biology and his medical degree from New York University, completing his residency and fellowship training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He spent over a decade at the Food and Drug Administration, serving as Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research from 2016 to 2025. He is currently Senior Vice President for Molecule Development and Head of Infectious Disease at Eli Lilly and Company and is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.

Kirsten Tullia serves as Executive Director for AdvaMed Digital Health Tech, where she directs policy, advocacy, communications, and legislative strategy for companies driving advances in digital health. Prior to this role she served as Senior Vice President in AdvaMed’s Payment and Health Care Delivery Policy Department and as Department Head for Health Policy at the MITRE Corporation. She holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, an M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a B.A. from Southern Virginia University.

Kaye Pestaina leads KFF’s (formerly Kaiser Family Foundation) Program on Patient and Consumer Protection, which examines the challenges individuals face navigating the health care system, with a particular focus on people with serious or chronic illness who struggle to access affordable care. Prior to joining KFF, she held senior roles implementing the Affordable Care Act at HHS and the Office of Personnel Management, served as Vice President at the Segal Company advising public and private clients on healthcare compliance, and worked as an attorney at the Employee Benefits Security Administration developing regulatory proposals on employee health benefits. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Prior to joining CMS, Jacob co-founded and led Anomaly, a venture-backed startup streamlining health insurance billing and payment, and held roles at Redesign Health, Flatiron Health, and Google. He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford University.

He led the development of CDT’s Consumer Privacy Framework for Health Data and has advocated for comprehensive federal privacy legislation. Prior to joining CDT, Andrew served as Counsel to U.S. Senator Chris Coons, focusing on Judiciary Committee matters including privacy, technology, and telecommunications. He holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Villanova University.
