NCL’S Sally Greenberg receives HerMANA award
NCL CEO Sally Greenberg was awarded the prestigious HerMANA award by MANA at the AT&T Forum on September 26 in Washington, DC. MANA is one of the leading Latina voices on many of the key issues in the public sphere, with a focus on education, health and well-being, financial literacy, equal and civil rights, and immigration reform.
Greenberg was thanked for partnering with MANA to expose Herbalife, a company that was engaging in pyramid scheme activity and targeting Latinas, who were persuaded to try to sell the company’s products and purchase large inventories. In reality, none of these women could earn an income, and many ended up losing their life savings. Greenberg was recognized for her commitment to inclusivity and advocacy on behalf of consumers. NCL has been in a long-term partnership with MANA, particularly in the areas of health equity and financial health.
