Emily McKay is a Freshman at American University and interned in Spring 2025 in the communications department at the National Consumer League. She is majoring in data science for political science. In the future, Emily hopes to work in AI legislation and regulation. We appreciated her work in Spring 2025.

Mekdes Agezew is a junior at Wake Forest University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Health Policy and Administration. This Ethiopian native was an intern in Spring 2025 in the Health Policy department at NCL. She hopes to pursue a career in Public Health and Health Policy, working toward a more just and equitable healthcare system that ensures greater access to quality care for diverse populations.
