In response to the approval of the Ticketmaster-Live Nation merger by British regulators, the members of the TicketDisaster.org coalition have urged the U.S. Department of Justice to consider the profound differences between Ticketmaster’s and Live Nation’s dominance of the U.S. live event market and their market position in Great Britain.

In response to recent reports suggesting that an approval of the Ticketmaster-Live Nation merger by the DOJ is imminent, members of the TicketDisaster.org coalition have corrected rumors and given further reason why the merger should be blocked.

Consumer watchdog to FDA: Mislabeled food products a bad ‘Choice’ for consumers

NCL has called on the FDA to investigate misleading labeling involving a new food product, Ocean Spray’s “Choice,” which is sold to food manufacturers as a “sweetened dried cranberry” but contains more sugar than actual fruit and is made from cranberry skins – not whole cranberries.

NCL statement on Senate Democrats' elimination of the public option

When the Senate Democrats eliminated a public option as part of health reform legislation to expand coverage - a compromise viewed favorably by House leadership as well - a blow was dealt to those who do not currently have coverage. By removing the choice of a public option, we have removed any opportunity to keep consumer access to insurance coverage honest and fair.
