Alcohol is alcohol, no matter what you drink. A standard serving of beer, wine, and spirits contain essentially the same amounts of alcohol, and it affects your body the same way. These new Web pages give you the basics about the alcohol content of different alcoholic beverages and information about alcohol labeling so you will have the facts to drink responsibly.

For 30 years, the National Consumers League has called for the federal government to require standardized and complete labeling information on beer, wine and distilled spirits products. Read our White Paper on the subject.
